Production

To guarantee all-year supply of the best quality bulbs, Van den Bos owns, operates and partners with production facilities around the globe. Both in the northern and the southern hemisphere, we produce bulbs in the optimum climatic conditions. One example is our close cooperation with the Southern Bulbs S.A. production company, which is based in Chile, since 1991. Southern Bulbs focuses on behalf of Van den Bos Flowerbulbs on three areas: production, logistics and sales. An area of about 300 hectares is available for production, divided over seven different production locations from North to South America.

The most important advantage for our clients of this co-op is the fact that Van den Bos can offer fresh bulbs twice a year. The seasons are exactly six months apart and this means that being one of the few suppliers we can consequently offer a double selection.  The fresher the bulb, the more vigorous the growth.
